Home Slate is a youth baseball tournament app for the Kansas City area, run by 4Tigerstech LLC. This policy says exactly what we collect and what we do not.

What we collect

WhatWhy
Your email address and the name you enter at sign-up to sign you in and show your teams
Content you type into the app: team names, player names and numbers, pitch counts, game chat messages it is your team's own record, shown back to you and the people you share the team with
One session cookie to keep you signed in. It is not used for advertising or tracking.
Traffic counts: which screen was opened, when, the referring site, and a rough device type (phone / tablet / desktop) to see whether the site is actually useful and where visitors come from. No cookies, no advertising identifiers, and no IP addresses are stored. Each visitor is reduced to a hash mixed with a secret that is rotated every day, so a returning visitor can be counted today and cannot be recognised tomorrow.
Server logs (time, page requested; used only for uptime and abuse) to keep the service running
If you connect a GameChanger account: the sign-in session for that account, so the app can read your teams, rosters, games and game video requested by you, for your own account. Your password is used once to sign in and is never stored.

What we do NOT collect

Tournament data comes from public sources

Events, divisions and results are published by USSSA, Perfect Game and Prep Baseball on their public pages. Field status comes from the hosts' public rainout lines (KC Sports and 3&2 Baseball). Weather comes from Open-Meteo. Player names in a participating-teams list are published by the tournament itself, not by us.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your information with anyone. There is no data broker, no marketing partner, and no sponsor receives personal information. If a local business sponsors a complex, its name and offer appear as a card in the app; it gets no data about you.

Children

Home Slate is a tool for parents, coaches and fans, not a service directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly create accounts for children. A coach may type player names into a roster; that is the coach's own team record, and we process it only to show it back to that team.

Keeping and deleting your data

Your account and its content are kept while your account exists. Email support@4tigerstech.com from the address on the account and we will delete the account and its content within 30 days. You can also unfollow teams and delete your own roster, pitch and chat entries in the app at any time.

Security

Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. Data lives on servers we operate in the United States.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect, we will say so in the app before the change takes effect.
